Zweigelt thrives in DIWALD's Goldberg vineyards. Only the most loose and ripe bunches get harvested, due to the great deal of attention needed from this grape.
After 2 to 3 weeks of skin contact, this wine ages in ancient acacia barrels for 18 months. It is then bottled unfiltered, with the minimum sulphur addition.
This wine present beautiful red berry fruitiness, refreshing acidity and an enormous drinking pleasure.
Preferred drinking temperature is between 15 and 17 degrees.
Optimum drinking years are between 2021 and 2026.
