Il Babbo Barbera d'Asti DOCG Superiore
A Barbera on STEROIDS.
18 months in barrels and an additional 8 months in the bottle.
Farmed at 300 meters above sea level, with a South Western exposure. A limited use of pesticides has been applied along no added herbicides and the wine is made sustainably.
The malolactic fermentation has occurred in stainless steel tanks and is later aged for 18 months in used medium toast French oak barrels. Thereafter, the wine is transferred to stainless steel vats and bottled a month later for an additional 8 months.
Aromas of blackberry and red cherry can be noted. This wine is full-bodied and has a fruity acidity alongside a balanced silky texture. It can be paired well with a multi-course meal of cured meats, hearty pasta dishes and a variety cheeses.

Preferred serving temperature is 18 to 20 degrees.
